Delbert L. Bell is The Director of Business Operation with Tanauan Continental LLC. Delbert has been in public safety for over 28 years in Florida and The Department of Defense. Delbert worked for Suwannee County Fire/Rescue and Gilchrest County Fire/Rescue in North Florida as a Captain of training for both departments. He taught the State of Florida curriculum for Fire Inspector I/II, 45 hour semester course with 3 college credit hours each including Fire Prevention Practices, Codes and Standard, Building Construction, Fire Chemistry, Construction Documents and Plans Review, Protection Systems I and II, Origin and Cause and Fire and Life Safety Educator I and II.
Delbert also taught instructor I/II/III, 45 hour semester course with 3 college credit hours each in course delivery and course design. Fire Investigator I/II, including origin and cause, latent investigations and arson investigations. Fire Officer I/II and minimum standards for fire fighter I/II along with a list of many other college accredited courses for different certifications and competencies in Florida. Delbert, work for Gulf Coast Community College as an instructor of the A.S in Fire Science Degree program in Panama City Florida.
Delbert was the President of his Local for the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) helping secure better contracts for the members. As the Director of Business Operation for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) in his region, he helped raise money to fund neuromuscular disease research. He has spent a number of years volunteering his time to raise awareness and money for MDA and Children’s Burn Camp. Delbert is a member of the Florida Fire Marshal Inspector Association (FFMIA), Florida Fire Sprinkler Association (FFSA) and the Florida Advisory Commission on Arson Prevention (FACAP).
In 2012 Delbert went abroad and worked on many Department of Defense contracts with the US Navy, US Army and the US Marines. He deployed four times to Afghanistan, three times to Kuwait, twice to Saudi Arabia and one tour in Djibouti. He was an integral part in documenting and exposing over $580 million in fraud waste and abuse during three separate 15-6 investigations.
In addition, he holds an A.S. Degree in Fire Science Technology
