Robert A. Baldrate is the Director of Fire Prevention and Plans Review with Tanauan Continental LLC. Robert has been in public safety for over 35 years in the United States Air Force, with the Department of Defense, and the Department of State.
Robert worked for the United States Air Force from August 1986 until December 2006. While serving on active-duty Robert was stationed and deployed throughout the United States and the World. Robert started his Air Force career at Pease AFB, NH where he served as Firefighter / Driver Operator /Fire Dispatcher. Throughout his 20 plus years of service Robert was stationed at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, Lakenheath Air Base, England, Falcon Air Station, Colorado, Kunsan Air Base, Korea, Hickam Air Force Base, HI, as well as countless deployed locations throughout the world, and finished out his illustrious US Air Force career at Charleston Air Force Base, SC. Robert received 7 commendation medals and 5 achievement medals during his career as well as winning Non Commissioned Officer (NCO) for multiple Quarters and Years while serving at Hickam AFB, HI and Charleston AFB, SC. As well Robert won Fire Prevention Officer of the year and for the Pacific Air Forces Command while serving at Hickam AFB, HI. Robert honed his skills from Firefighter, Driver/Operator, Lead Firefighter, Station Chief, Fire Inspector, Fire Dispatcher, Assistant Fire Chief Operations, Training, Special Operations, and Prevention during his tenure in the US Air Force.
Upon his retirement from the US Air Force, Robert began his tenure overseas in the role of Fire Chief and Assistant Fire Chief for Prevention, Training, Operations, and Health & Safety. Solely responsible for the management and oversight of fire prevention, operations, and training, provides recommendations for approval on all proposed policy changes. He is highly knowledgeable on the principles, concepts, methodology and recognized standards covering fire emergency services techniques and procedures. Robert has excellent organizational, computer skills, and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and administrative details in a fast paced and constantly changing environment.
